Autos del Caribe has successfully completed its corporate
transformation through an aggressive process of restructuring in order to exceed
its set goals in sales and services. The transformation process was conducted
under the leadership of its President, Rafael Esteves, with his strong
background and experience in the automotive industry.
His primary goal was to solidify Mitsubishi and Hyundai as the leader in sales
in the Island’s auto market. The strategic plan encompassed new marketing and
branding initiatives for the Sales, Administration, Parts & Services, and
Accessories departments.
Autos del Caribe achieved set objectives during the last years
becoming the Number One in Sales for Hyundai and Mitsubishi. The Company is
fully committed with the people of Puerto Rico through its Community Initiative
Program, in partnership with various local philanthropic and charitable
organizations.

The company’s new and innovative ways of approaching “value added” concept in
car prices, accompanied by the best service, makes Autos del Caribe selling

Autos del Caribe is currently the number one dealer in sales
for Hyundai and Mitsubishi in Puerto Rico. Its remarkable success has been
achieved through excellent administrative practices, quality of employees,
teamwork and the best Sales group in the island.
Founded in July 1st, 1993, Autos del Caribe began recruiting
sales team by selecting only highly qualified individuals and hiring the most
knowledgeable and experienced for its Service & Parts Department. The first
dealership was located on the 65th Infantry Road. .
The success and the growth in sales was so fast, a decision to expand into other
areas of the island was made. Today, Autos del Caribe has five
dealerships.
In February 2000, Autos del Caribe increased its number of
stores with the acquisition of a number of other dealers in Canóvanas and
Fajardo. Later in the same year, they established a more complete and bigger
dealer on Kennedy Avenue, followed by another in Bayamón.
Autos del Caribe continued to develop a consistent plan of
expansion with the purpose of bringing high quality service and client
satisfaction into the local auto market.
